This IDC Survey report discusses digital trust among Australia/New Zealand (ANZ) organisations, using results from the 2018 Digital Trust and Cybersecurity Economics Survey. This survey was conducted across 12 countries within the Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) (APEJ) region. This research was designed to gain an understanding of enterprise security programmes and drivers of trust in APEJ. The quantitative content of this survey aims to help IT leaders facilitate forward-thinking discussions with their peers and uncover ways to influence perceptions of digital trust and cybersecurity posture in a positive manner.
This report compares the Australia results with the New Zealand (ANZ) results from the survey to analyse and understand the current state of ANZ businesses’ digital trust and cybersecurity activities. It presents risk management and security technologies prioritised, security budget allocation trends, and key attributes contributing to the perception of trustworthiness in a business partner. These findings are key to understand the future of digital transformation and digital activity in Australia and New Zealand.
