Abstract
This IDC Tech Buyer Presentation provides IDC's view on customer consent — one of the key tenets of IDC's Hierarchy of Customer Expectations. The presentation highlights how customer consent becomes a critical point in implementing customer centric strategy. IDC believes that customer consent plays an important role in getting brand preferences and loyalties, which are at customers' root emotional connections. This presentation also provides trends and drivers for customer centricity initiatives, an end-user survey for customer consent, and a framework or principles in implementing customer consent, complete with a development method. This was presented in IDC's Asian Financial Services Congress 2019, Singapore, on February 28, 2019.
