By: Holly MuscolinoResearch Vice President, Content and Process Strategies and the Future of Work

Abstract

This IDC Survey Spotlight provides the results and analysis from a survey of 150 IT and line-of-business technology executives and managers in U.S. organizations with 500+ employees. The respondents were the primary decision makers or directly influenced decisions about work transformation initiatives in their company.

"These results demonstrate that organizations are deploying digital workers in their organizations, including artificial intelligence, robotics, augmented and virtual reality, intelligent process automation software, digital assistants, and other 'smart' devices," stated Holly Muscolino, research vice president, Content and Process Strategies and the Future of Work. "In addition, they expect to see these digital workers executing a larger percentage of work activities in the next two years."
