Abstract

This IDC Survey provides a summary of the unified communications–as-a-service (UCaaS) results of IDC's U.S. Enterprise Communications Survey 2019, an online survey of United States–based businesses fielded in August 2019. This portion of the survey explores key UCaaS issues including UCaaS adoption and usage, drivers for UCaaS investment, and the benefits and concerns businesses have about deploying a UCaaS solution.

"UCaaS adoption continues to expand as businesses become more comfortable with cloud delivery models. Nearly 52% of businesses currently use UCaaS, up from 44% in 2017, and also 48% plan to implement UCaaS within the next two years.
