Abstract

This IDC Survey provides a summary of a portion of IDC's 2019 Data-as-a-Service Survey. This survey was fielded in October 2019 and includes insights from 505 current and future users of data as a service. These five fast facts offer a view into buyer profiles and what factors make an offer appealing.

"Value is the key attribute that buyers seek with data as a service," said Lynne Schneider, research director, Data as a Service. "Whether those buyers are in IT or the lines of business, vendors should focus on who to target and how to target the potential buyers. This is a really dynamic space with a lot of potential for growth."
