Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight discusses the perception of the participation of security in digital transformation initiatives is incongruent with the perception of authority.
"When asked about true authority, requiring sign off, only 10% of chief information security officers (CISOs)/heads of trust have that authority," said Amita Potnis, research director, Future of Trust. "Although almost two-thirds of respondents feel that security and trust teams are actively included, the reality is likely that they are not as active as they think."
