Abstract
This IDC Web Conference examines the substantial business impact of COVID-19 on the U.S. print market. We have already witnessed changes to how work is getting done in this unique "new normal" scenario, inclusive of print behavior. The coronavirus pandemic is wreaking havoc on all facets of business and life. Countries around the world have shut down most businesses and schools in an effort to minimize the projected health impact. We have not observed such devastation in our lifetime, but we are optimistic that recovery will take place at some point in the future.
In this presentation, IDC's U.S. printer analysts discuss how print is and will continue to change within key print market segments in this evolving situation. Discussion topics include trends in office printing (hardware, page volumes, and services) as well as expected developments in production print, wide format, and 3D printing.
